109. Rabbi Daniel Sharratt "The Rabbi"
from We’ll Take it From Here with Joe · host We’ll Take it From Here with Joe
This week I am joined by my friend Rabbi Daniel Sharratt. Yes, that is right, "The Rabbi". For those that follow me on Instagram you would have seen a picture of Daniel and I after sparring at Pure MMA. Daniel and I met on the mats and quickly respected the others tenacity and strength. By trade, Daniel is a Jewish Orthodox Rabbi working in Kosher Supervision for largest Kosher agency in the world. However, Daniel had a unique upbringing which saw him grow up in south Florida to a non-religious family, where outside of school he would play sports (mainly Water polo) and party. Daniel's passion for Water polo stayed with him throughout his collegiate career at both Florida State University and The University of Notre Dame, where he graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Around this time, Daniel decided to enhance his knowledge in his newfound faith of Judaism and studied for four years in Jerusalem, Israel. Daniel's story is inspiring for anyone who is experiencing or is contemplating what path to take in life. Finally, Daniel's main message for everyone listening is that no matter what you're going through, there is someone who will always love you.
