109 - Stan's The Man In Snowy Stoke

from Back Of The Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast · host Back of the Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast

On Saturday night, Cherries weren’t exactly vintage. A change of formation, two personnel changes, and a familiar frustration for large parts of the game. But Junior Stanislas came good when needed. In this podcast Sam Davis, Neil Dawson, Jeff Hayward and Tom Jordan dissect our performance at the Bet 365 Stadium. Stoke were good at stifling the attacks, whilst not producing a lot of their own. But that said, it felt like they had the majority of the chances in the first half albeit not the clearest. Boscombe had the best opportunity of the second half though… and they took it. Cook fed Junior, and whilst he didn’t have the best of games, he certainly does possess the ice-cold mentality that is required in those situations.  We also have a mid-term review of the Championship's runners and riders with Daniel Storey (BBC, Totally Football Pod, PL and Forest fan) - and Nancy Frostick (Sheffield Wednesday reporter for The Athletic and the i Paper) - the full audio of which you can see on Youtube.  Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms.
