Does the Law of God promote sin or instigate sin, as some have suggested? "The Law came in that the transgression might increase..." (Rom. 5:20). This does not mean that the Law promoted the increase of sin, but that the personal Satanic source (Satan reacting to the Law and character of God in man) that activates sin responded to the Law with intensified and increased sin.
