1092 REVOLUTIONIZING BACKGROUND CHECKS
from thinkfuture: technology, philosophy and the future Hosted by chris kalaboukis
In this episode of "ThinkFuture," I chat with Chris Harper, an entrepreneur who’s shaking up the background check game with his company, ZippedScript. Harper kicks things off with his wild journey—from selling light switch covers and Christmas caroling as a kid to tackling the outdated background check industry. He breaks down how the old-school methods, like call centers and “runners,” are slow, pricey, and sketchy. ZippedScript flips the script by getting user permission to directly verify educational credentials, building a massive, secure global database that’s way faster and fraud-resistant. We geek out on the future, imagining ZippedScript's tech on a blockchain for digital credentials and identities in the next decade—though Harper warns traditional companies might drag their feet. We wrap up planning to chat more offline about blockchain ideas, and Harper drops his contact info for anyone who wants to connect. YouTube crew, this one’s for anyone into tech innovation and fixing broken systems!---Connect with Chris https://www.linkedin.com/in/chris-harper-217426151/---this media was brought to you by polyscope https://polyscopemedia.com
