Henry Seidlitz Sr. is a third-generation farmer in Saskatchewan. He served as chairman of the Buffalo Plains School Division for more than a decade during the 1980s and 1990s. At a time when the provincial government was closing small rural schools, he played a key role in expanding the division by building new elementary schools in Regina Beach, Pilot Butte, White City, and Edenwold.
