This morning we discuss the Torah's unique prohibition against marrying two sisters, different in two ways from any other prohibition of immorality. Based on Ramban, we see how the Torah values siblings getting along as high as protecting against sexual immorality. Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law. ADATH is a modern orthodox synagogue community in suburban Montreal, providing Judaism for the next generation.
