It’s the final hour on Network Indiana’s Indiana Sports Talk, Jimmy Cook and Eddie Garrison start out this final hour joined by Alex Golden with the “Setting the Pace” podcast, to talk the latest from the Indiana Pacers. Jimmy and Alex first start by talking about the Pacers’ 7th overall pick in this year's draft. They give their opinions on what the Pacers should do with this pick, and what the Pacers will do with this pick. After that on IST, Co-host of sister station, The Fan’s, morning show Kevin & Query, Jake Query joins the show to be teased about losing a spelling bee in Jake’s youth. On a serious note, Jimmy and Jake talk some Indy 500. Jake gives his overall thoughts on the race and what he liked and disliked about the finish to the 107th running of the greatest spectacle in racing. They then talk the comments made by Marcus Ericsson immediately following the race about what he believed to be a dangerous finish to the race. Lastly, Jake gives his thoughts on what the Indianapolis Motor Speedway might do in the future to allow for better finishes to the race. To close out this Friday night on Indiana Sports Talk, the Voice of the South Bend Cubs, Brendan King stops by to discuss with Jimmy the Cubbies tough loss tonight to the Fort Wayne Tincaps. BK talks the whole series and some of the top prospects playing for both squads.
