11-15-18 the Joys of Adoption

November is National Adoption Month and the Colorado Department of Human Services celebrated by recognizing five dedicated families at a special luncheon celebration at the Governor’s Mansion. The honored families, who came to Denver from across the state of Colorado, have all adopted children from Colorado’s foster care system. My friends, Lisa and Rex, are one of those families, and they’ll share their inspiring journey navigating the foster care system and ultimately, adopting their beautiful son.
