from CBS Mornings on the Go · host CBS News

Just four days before the midterms, control of Congress could hinge on Pennsylvania. We spoke to Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman. Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, is back at the couple's San Francisco home this morning after being severely injured by a man, who prosecutors say intended to kidnap the speaker at the House. This morning, we have breaking news from the Korean peninsula where South Korea has scrambled jets in response to a massive show of force by the north. Here in this country, synagogues are on high alert in New Jersey -- following an FBI warning about what's described as a "broad" and "credible" threat. NBA star Kyrie Irving is being punished for supporting an anti-semitic film, and refusing to disavow anti-semitism. His team, the Brooklyn Nets, suspended him for at least five games without pay, and said he must take certain steps before he can play again. Nearly 30 million Americans could see severe weather today. A powerful system moving across the south will bring heavy rain and possible tornadoes.
