Canon Francis Altiere, ICKSP serves as Rector of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Oratory in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was ordained in 2014. In Today's Show There is a local museum that says it's haunted. I have heard these things can sometimes be demonic. Is it safe to go there? We can visit the cemetery and receive indulgences from November 1st to the 8th. Why is the 8th of November the cutoff, and what is the significance of that? When someone remembers a sin from the past that they never confessed, what words should the person say to the priest to convey that they want to confess the sin? When genuflecting during Adoration, are we to get on both knees and bow, as opposed to kneeling on the right knee? Also, when leaving the nave/pews during Adoration, are we to fixate our eyes on the Eucharist and walk backwards, or is it just a cultural practice of some Catholics?
