#11. Complimenting as a Practice: The Magic of Uplifting the World Around You

I am on a big kick right now around this idea of “women supporting women”. I’ve been working on planning some events in my local community as many have been asking and it is something I really enjoy to do.  I also want to raise the vibration around women, with women, especially the women in your household or closest to you. Why? Well, there is this idea in society that women are in competition always or act catty often in groups, and truly, imagine if we started to change that right now, with this episode today. I’ve stepped into a practice of complimenting other women, as a practice on purpose. It started after doing this as an exercise after a conference I attended years ago and now it’s part of my every day.  I don’t even notice myself doing it anymore inside my home, but part of this practice has resulted in my daughters complimenting me more and more. It’s a beautiful thing. The key was for me to go first. And I was reminded of this last week at a women in business event I was at where intuitively I was guided to complement the women in front of me. It was magical what I witnessed. I like to dream big and I like to start things that can ripple out to the WORLD, yes the WORLD… so here it goes.
