Several years ago, before I started this business, I planned to open a business in private aviation. During the process of preparing to start that business, I decided to take a flight lesson because I wanted to know first hand the industry I was about to join and pilots respect other pilots. What happened scared the daylights out of me and helped shaped a decision that changed the trajectory of my career.
