Katie launched Fig Balloon Co. in 2018 as a creative outlet because she was tired of working her data entry day job. Katie shares how she built her company with no partners and no investors, initially cold emailing local businesses and delivering balloon arrangements out of her Honda Accord. Now, in 2023, Katie has two full time employees and her own studio space in Beverly, MA! What started as 2-3 $250 deliveries per week, has grown into 12-15 $1000 balloon arrangements per week. You do the math! Katie shares the struggles of getting her business off the ground on her own, how she grew her instagram following to 11K, and how she rapidly grew her company to work with massive companies like Dunkin Donuts.
