Despite a commanding performance in the BLOODSPORT arena Mairi was unable to best the champions. No matter, however, as the heir apparent to the Empire, PRINCE XELETH swooped in on a RED DRAGON, incinerating the Mercane mercenary and demanding PRINCESS XENDALLI come with him to lend legitimacy to his coronation. The Princess agreed to go, but bought Mairi time by leaving her RING OF SHOOTING STARS with our halfling heroine. The fleet left the space station leaving Mairi alone to determine how convince the warring alien factions to form an alliance and take the fight to the prince before he can become emperor.
