Dolek learning to hover no it wasn't because I wanted a pair of leggings. Oh, that's right. That's right. That's right.

I was totally ordering when I get them all put a picture in my robot legs up But anyways, yeah, Dilek's learning to hover Yeah, I mean legs do not give you the life you can upstairs easily if you look at the Ed 209 from Roblok up one he gets filled with stairs and follows in cries like a stuck baby, which is creepy as hell but but like now Kickthrough could walk upstairs. Yeah, but he didn't have robot legs Yeah, the funny thing is when you say tank treads I just I imagine short-circuit He could have gotten up, now he couldn't get up shallow stairs because he would have had to kind of, kind of, weeble wobble your way up each stairs. Yeah, but like I said, when you say, we're at the tank charts, immediately the first thing I go to is short circuses. Not the greatest social material for robot legs.

I was going with some of the reavers from the accident comic, but yeah, I mean. Okay, I can see why you think tank charts would be better, but I still disagree. I would rather have to go. I'm just saying legs ain't all they're cracked up to it.

You know, just the thing is, like, imagine watching somebody walk with robot legs would probably just be kind of exhausting to watch because it sounds like it'd be very laboring. What would it be like the way we were talking about? Goose, goose, goose. Yeah.

That was almost a club song. Well, only if you're walking quickly. Goose, goose, goose, goose, goose. Do they have slow jams in jungle?

Or that's not jungle. Jungle's really 90s, though. Okay, it's so 90s. It's so raving.

Yeah, that happens. Ah, ah, ah. Ah, ah, ah, ah. Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.

Oh, my gosh, ah, ah. Dinosaur's could be my brain. Dinosaur's, yeah. You're a really dumb good guy.

They're there. But yeah, no, I still disagree on tank charts, I'm sorry. Well, hopefully, when we put this up, I'll post something on Facebook and Twitter. Well, you said you had some counterpoints, though.

What were you counterpoints? Well, my counterpoints were that, like, at 2.09 couldn't get upstairs at legs. Like, just because you have tank treads, like, you go, we can't get upstairs. Well, just because you have legs doesn't mean you can get upstairs.

No, I'm not really cutting the image of him trying to get upstairs. I'm getting stuck at an angle and falling on blackness. Like, the character RoboCop 2 had fucking feet. I don't think he could have gotten upstairs.

They were giant fucking feet. And the stairwell that RoboCop used, I know that I'm using RoboCop is like scientific evidence. So I just, I understand. It's okay, it's not as bad as when you referenced the fifth element that you're older, so.

Yes, yeah, most of my medical knowledge comes from Bruce Wells' movies. A lot of my engineering prowess comes from RoboCop movies. But, I mean, the staircase at RoboCop goes, what? I consider the source.

RoboCop. You know, and I just want to say, I'm actually not sure I'm going to go see the RoboCop remake. That's bullshit. I know I'm going to see it.

Elysium? No, not Elysium. Which actually might have more violence than RoboCop remake. It's going to be G13.

Yeah. Big shot, I can't even RoboCop. That's kind of the point of RoboCop is it was a satire society. It was over the top violence.

And can I just say, on the topic of RoboCop, if I can get real for a second? Yes, sir. Let's get real talking about RoboCop. The situation in Detroit currently?

Oh, yeah. Is the premise for part of the RoboCop movie? So is, could something like OCP take over Detroit? Could we end up with Time Warnerville?

Interesting thought. You know, I really liked the people who did try to do RoboCop. Yes. No, it'd be awesome.

If I'd be a little bit too similar, but I just liked that they really went back to the source material and didn't take out all of the violence. They made it a cop movie, effectively, but with guns and, you know, with the law-giver guns. And it wasn't like over the top campy, the way the horrible one, which will not be really. Don't we talk about it?

Yeah. And I still don't know. I am the law. Oh, you're the law.

I was going to say, and they still had the weird drug use. Yeah. Oh, such a great, but it was such a great use of the drug use when they chuck them off the building. I had a horrible way.

I thought you'd have to do something similar to that with RoboCop. You know, really get back to the source material, which is funny when I say that. Well, I don't think they are because, have you seen the pictures of the new RoboCop? No.

It's very Batman Begins. Like, he's in all black. And it's like, no, like, make him be like. He doesn't have to be gritty and real.

You know what I mean? No. And if it is, make it fucking hard and have the over the top violence. I mean, the scenes of them killing Murphy, well, like live on in my mind is like scarring.

Like, when they blow off his hand. Can you say that? But now I'm just imagining the family guy snippet about doing worse than that guy in RoboCop. And then they just have a little animated version of that scene.

And you're like, oh, no. Did they do the whole scene? Yeah. Wow.

You know him screaming and pits at himself. And you give. Goddamn, well, his hand just like atomizes in that shotgun blast. You know what's really funny is the first time they ever actually watched RoboCop, it was on a Sunday afternoon on the Sunday afternoon movie on TV that had been edited for television.

Oh. Yep. Horrible. No, it's probably about, you know, 10 at the time.

Maybe a little younger. I'm not sure, though, but it's just one of those things where you're like, what the hell is this? This is interesting. I wonder if they actually say bitches leave.

I remember that line, but God only knows when I actually heard it. That was. I was in a later viewing on the cable where they, you know, didn't edit it like that. One of my favorite RoboCop memories was seeing it at the Midnight Madness.

I think it was at the Esquire at the Midnight Madness. Yes, it is. And we went and it was like the first time I'd smoked pot in something like three years. And I think I was being a little louder and a bit more MST3K than anyone was assuming I'd be.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I kept waiting for Kerwood Smith to call it RoboCop, a dumbass. Like I just kept going, RoboCop, dumbass. He's still good in that 70s show. He's the overbearing ass.

Oh, so great. That might mean I literally went, shh, really? Like that loud in the movie theater when Bitch is pleased with sex. I'm like, I must hear it.

It's one of my top three favorite movie lines of all time. So I have a great memory of going to Midnight at the Labyrinth over there. Oh, Lord. In the scene where they do the reveal on David Bowie and the pants, everybody's like, yeah!

That's, pants is a charitable term. I was going to say, what are you talking about? And then David Bowie and David Bowie's package. His cock was in that movie more than he was.

I'm just saying. It gets second, Billy. Like they should've just given him a Tina Turner Mercant. And that, and just done that.

Like that's the Goblin King. Aw. I love him in that movie. I have a friend that, she saw that when she was young.

Was totally obsessed with it. And asked her mom to give her a haircut. Like David Bowie's haircut and that movie and the mom didn't know how to do it, right? So she totally had a little mullet.

It's a fucking mullet. Like a trash mullet, not Japanese fashion mullet. Yeah, we talked about how that's the thing. I didn't realize it's the term for it.

I just, it was a associate Tina Turner's hair with it. Thunderdum? I think that's the Beyond Thunderdum. Beyond Thunderdum?

No, please. Shooman Enter. What man? Master Blaster.

What's going on? Oh, what a really great sci-fi nostalgia opening up. Well, it's because I've been re-watching a lot of older stuff and a lot of stuff that I hadn't watched in a long time. One of which being that I've been re-watching Darkwing Thought, which we've talked about.

Have you gotten to the Dark Warrior Duck? No, I haven't gotten to Dark Warrior Duck yet. However, I did not realize that. Oh, and that's a really good segue from RoboCop and all this because Frank Miller wrote The Dark Knight Returns, Influenced Dark Warrior Duck, and Frank Miller also wrote RoboCop 2 and 3 and Cameo in RoboCop 2.

He was the drug tech that was in the mobile meth lab van where he gives Tom dude the drug and then Tom dude and puts his neck and goes, credit with the motor of this chemical. It's making my teeth all wiggly. I remember that. Yeah, the drug tech in that?

Yeah. That's Frank Miller. Oh, sorry, it's very noisy outside for a minute for some reason. We have some ro- It sounds like a hobo dragging playground equipment down the parking lot.

Or so I imagine. Pretty sure it's just a belly or a flatbed for a hand truck, but okay, Doug. Okay. Okay.

Yeah, no, I didn't realize that one of the first episodes is actually him writing a comic book in Dark Wing Duck and then everybody else writing their own version of that comic book. In the first- In the first episodes of Dark Wing Duck. I remember he writes a comic book. I don't remember that it was that early on.

No, it was. I was really surprised. It was super early on. It went meta-onic?

It went meta-onic. So meta. Yeah, no, it's him writing a comic book and you're like, this is kind of a little bit complicated for a kid's cartoon. The Dark Warrior episode that I'm so fascinated with, I don't think actually ever outright say that he thought Gossel was dead.

It's just implied that you were gone, I couldn't find it, whatever. But if you look at it, it's obviously he was driven to the extreme that he takes it thinking that she was dead. Yeah. So with the time, I love this cracker.

Cracker Jack's time top. Cracker Jack's? Yeah. You said Cracker.

It's Cracker. I'm sorry, Cracker Jack's time top. Which is right up there with the Captain America like, and Red Skull Shot him with a time bullet. Like it's just the silliness of, it's the way it sounds.

It's the way it sounds. Exactly. It's going to say it's your flip bottom. Oh, speaking of made up things, I want to say I had a dream that I meant to call you about, I'll just bring it up on the podcast.

The next time you drag me to something that, next time you take me to like a Bruha's apartment. A Bruha like a witch. Oh, okay, sorry. The next time you take me to a Bruha's apartment, which is kind of a, was a weird kind of bohemian troll market in a, in a, like a Capitol Hill apartment.

You've been watching Hellboy too. No, no, it's just troll markets since we, you know, fresh my brain. No, the next time you drag me to a bohemian Bruha apartment, and she asked for the totem, which was a worn drug kick Murphy's Zippo, let me know that it should have been like the logo and rubbed off, and she couldn't use it for the magic purposes. And we had to immediately leave, which I put my hand on you and woke up to get us out of there.

It's specific dream. Yeah, I just want to say, I was really disappointed that you didn't tell me about that totem in the dream, that it wouldn't work. Oh, I doubt that totem won't work. Well, it doesn't.

It doesn't. Out the logo, rubbed off. See, now you're telling me. It needs to have some of your essence on it, but you can't have it so worn.

Okay. So maybe just sleep with it in your pocket a couple of times. Okay. And start off if you're listening on a separate note.

Stop asking me to get you cocaine in my dreams. What? What did you eat before you went to bed? I don't know, but like, I went on a co-con for my, for my ex-girlfriend.

In your dream? In my dream. Look, I said, what did you eat before you went to sleep? I don't know.

Cheesh. I've been eating a lot of goji, so maybe that's it. Goji, yours are supposed to be great for you. I've been having great dreams.

I hate me on weirdly specific dreams like that, and then they don't resolve them, and so you're sitting there, and you're like, well, why did I just do this? Well, I got this out of the dream, and by waking up, so I thought that was really cool, but I literally woke up really disappointed, where I was like, you should have told me that. Well, I told you now. Okay.

Well, next time I dream about that after you goji. Next time I go to the troll market. Okay, they're gonna get wrecked onto Caudian, sing very man-a-lo after that. Now who's stuck on how boy?

I love that. I want to segue to the internet told me I'm wrong real quick, and the artist I was trying to think of who did the Wolverine poster that I really liked was David Mack. The fantastic David Mack. I can't recommend the Kabuki series enough.

No, I loved it, Mack. However, you saw the Wolverine. Speaking of yes, speaking of Wolverine, I went to go see the Wolverine. And?

It was better than Origin. Oh, that's not saying a lot. Now, one thing I'm going to preface this with spoiler alert if you haven't seen it. And spoiler spoiler, because I think we've established that spoilers don't bother me.

Yeah. There are going to be spoilers about the end of the movie, specifically the mid credits scene as well. So if you don't want to stop listening, fast forward, just keep scrubbing that 15 second button. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Shubbingers over your headphones. What's the venture brothers?

Oh, he's singing John Jacob, Jingle Highways Smith. No, really, he pees his bed. I'm kind of worried about him. Yeah, sing sing because I sing John Jacob, Jingle Highways Smith real loud until we're talking about the Wolverine.

So, no, I liked it. I mean, it was a hard, this is not funny. It was kind of a hard PG-13, not because of violence, but because of profanity, real language. Kind of pisses me off so much that they do shit like that.

Well, it's fucking bullshit, though. The profanity was well placed, but I would prefer it a bit more violence in terms of... We really haven't seen an outright berserker raid from him. We got pretty close.

We got pretty close in X-Men 2, but I knew that there wasn't, you're not going to have a lot of blood on X-Men 2. I really would like to see them just do a full on berserker attack. Yeah, I'd really like to see. I mean, that's why Darren Aronofsky left Hellming the Wolverine because he wanted to do a hard R4 sexual content and violence.

And I'm kind of wondering what exactly the sexual content would be on that one, but... I want to see him kill people, not fuck. I want to say, you know, just some more naked Wolverine. Because that worked out so well in Origins.

It worked out well for the cast members, mothers, and sisters that caught him on the other side of that. No, I'm sure that was an X-Men 2. Well, Origins, he's a bear-ass. I don't know.

I think he's muted all of them. He is super fucking ripped in this one, though. And he has talked about that in interviews where he goes, I finally had the time to get the build that I think Wolverine should have, and he is ridiculous. I mean, in an awesome way, not like in a stupid kind of way.

I'm not even going to talk about this on the podcast about how in my head, Wolverine should always look like Hey Day Danzig. Danzig was going to play Wolverine, but he couldn't. Well, it's just because he's supposed to be short. Yeah, short-haired and unlooped.

He's going to say Wolverine is supposed to be pretty short. And if you think about how long he lived, it makes sense because people are getting progressively taller, mostly because of, you know, never from malnutrition for the most part in America anymore. Well, he was just kind of a stout character. I mean...

But it's just like I said, in my head, Wolverine was always going to look like, you know, Hey Day Danzig. Yeah? And unfortunately, now I'm singing the Danzig Shakira in my head. What's Danzig in Spanish?

If you're in my brain internet. I'll change our YouTube link to that. But no, I liked it. It raised some interesting questions.

Also, probably one of my complaints would be that they had Lady Viper and Inter-Madam Viper, which I liked. I mean, it's fine, but it seemed like she kind of came out of that field where, like, all of a sudden there's another mutant. Like, there wasn't any... Yeah, it's like, okay, it's like, for her, it kind of seemed like you were coming in like half way through her story, where you didn't have a lot of backstory with her.

And you're kind of like wondering like, okay, so it's just this weird, you know, like a mutant antagonist all of a sudden. It'd be interesting to see, when it comes out on DVD, if they'll have a bunch of cutscenes, deleted scenes. That might explain a bit more about Viper. I was going to say that might fill in some of the missing pieces, because, you know, when you watch an extended kind of a movie, most of the time you understand why it is that and why they needed to speed up pacing and get it down from two and a half hours.

But it doesn't mean you don't want that information still. I liked that they had a lot of the characters from, once again, Weirdly Frank Miller's Wolverine Run. But they changed him just enough where I was happily confused where they were like, well, here's Kinchiro Harata. And I was like, well, he's going to end up being the Silver Samurai, and he wasn't.

So it kind of like left me guessing, which is really nice. That it did, yeah, it's like, oh. Right. And they had parts where Viper injects Marico and I was like, it's going to die because in the comics, Viper does poison Marico, and then Marico begs Wolverine to kill her, and then going through the pain of being like poisoned to death.

Yeah, it's right around, I think Wolverine, not 50, but I think it's like in the late 30s, early 40s of the original run, or in the 90s run. And I remember correctly, it's Jim Lee doing the art. But I think Larry Hammer was the writer if I'm not mistaken. But, you know, so it kind of left me wondering like, oh, is that going to happen?

Are they playing that close to the comic or aren't they? So, now a few things where I'm just going to poke holes in it where adamantium is indestructible. I think we can just assume that as a fictional scientific fact. Have you ever given about Wolverine's claws and Captain America shield yet?

No. And can it cut through Captain America's shield? Yes, well, which one is the more durable, I guess, weapon that I'm looking for? Wolverine's claws cannot cut through Captain America's shield because Captain America's shield is made up of three ingredients.

Adimentium? Adimentium? No. The name cracks me up every time.

I'm not obtaining him. So shittily on the nose. You guys think you might have put two points on that? Anyway, sorry, what is Captain America's shield made up of?

Adimentium. A vibranium? Or a vibranium? Oh, I said vibranium when I said I'm sorry, vibranium.

Vibranium is its brother. That's a real thing. Well, not a real thing. But you know what I mean?

So, adamantium, vibranium and a classified military steel alloy. Agent X. No, that's an actual guy. Oh, so we've been talking about the Powerpuff Girls, so.

Was it Agent? No, it's Formula X. I think it was Formula X. That's not important.

Sorry, Captain America's shield in Wolverine's claws. Vibranium absorbs impact, so it's to my knowledge that shield would not only absorb the impact, less than the kinetic energy. And cut the ability of his claws. But also, adamantium is indestructible.

Adimentium cannot cut through adamantium. So, using just those two. Okay, so another mix, thanks. But you were saying, so we can agree that adamantium is indestructible.

Yes. What was your follow up to that? An adamantium sword cut through his adamantium claws. Like, what?

Wait, what? And they made it more, I don't know, realistic or made it more plausible? A plausible word for it. That the silver samurai sword was like heated.

Like, it had a heating element in it. Like a stove top. So, here's one thing that I imagine. Like, had a little tank of propane strapped to his belt.

It was cooked the sword into charge. It was a little, yeah, it was a Coleman camp cooker sword. I'm glad you knew that I was talking about a little Coleman camp stove. Yeah, absolutely.

I've been camping once. Once. But yeah, it cuts through his claws. I'm like, what?

No, like, that isn't... Oh, but you know what? Well, no. I would like your opinion on this.

Because in X-Men 2, they talk about... Yeah. About an X-aloo. That they...

The striker says, you have to keep adamantium. Heated, to keep it in its... Liquid state? Liquid state.

Because if it cools, it becomes indestructible. No, I guess that argues out because I was gonna get... I was gonna say, well, if you heat the adamantium, then it would be malleable. It would be able to be sliced through.

So, I guess, like, the heating element sword makes sense? I don't know. That it would be able to liquify the adamantium on contact? But then why wouldn't the sword melt?

You know what I mean? Like, it doesn't make fucking any sense. Obviously, they could have magic spell on the sword, so it won't melt, but it still won't. Well, it's funny because of the silver samurai in the comics has his sword...

His sword ends up being like, like, powered by his... Immutability to manipulate tracheon energy or something. It's neat. So it cuts through his claws, and that allows the silver samurai suit to drill into Wolverine's bone structure through the bone claws that are now...

Exposed? Yeah, well, the stumps. And extracts his healing ability, which is... Apparently, his healing ability is able to be taken away and given to people.

Or give it, like, can be transferred. You see, it's funny like that, because you say that and only can think of his every bad vampire plotline ever. Yeah, like it doesn't. But the vampire's blood can cure somebody's sickness.

Yeah, like, it doesn't fucking make any sense. So, now the nice part is that kind of went, okay fine, but the bone claws are going to grow back, and then he uses that as, like, a weapon like he's not unarmed at that point. Here's... Bone claws are going to getcha.

Bone claws are going to getcha? My issue to that is that they kind of... One, that pulls up what I call Iron Man 3, where you're left wondering, like, okay, so in Days of Future Past, we're just going to have Wolverine in it. Will you have the claws, or will it just be the bone claws?

Yeah, and the rest of his bones are still unbreakable, except for fucking continuity issue. Except for that he was shot in the head of an adamantium bullet in Origin, which would give him a weak spot, because there'd be a hole in his adamantium skull, which is roughly the same spot he got. There's a hole in his adamantium skull, and my immediate reaction was like a baby soft spot? Yes, he has an adamantium skull, don't know what they call that.

I want to say for an LOP. That's not right either. For an LOP sounds like a really terrible name. It sounds like one of the racers in...

Well, that's because they were named by the recipe on the BON sweets. A bunch of sweets. Yeah, the other one's like, butterscotch, rung bottom, and all that kind of great names. Strawberry, Poof-Conter, whatever name is.

Now I finally remembered it. I've been trying to think of it for two days. Fennel. Fennel.

No, no, I was trying to think of the... Another name of the song spot? Yes, it is, I think. But no, I was trying to think I came up with a name if I was ever going to be a roller derby girl, and it was Strawberry Whore Cake.

Oh, I'm glad I could help. I just couldn't think of it, because there was either going to be Bambi Dextris or Strawberry Whore Cake. Bambi Dextris. Me like that.

The first ever cornstar I would be like that. Alright. The name was Wolverine has a soft spot. So yeah, like, okay, ignoring origins and whatever.

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to. But there's a lot of like, this lead into the post credit scene. Days of Future Past, there's a lot of time travel. So is it going to be Wolverine before?

Yeah, is it going to be the Wolverine after the Wolverine, or is it going to be the Wolverine? The Wolverine? Yeah, before the Wolverine. Interesting.

I know part of it would be a set in the late 60s or early 70s. So, okay. And that leads me to the mid credit scene, which got me super excited because it raises a lot of questions. So Wolverine is walking through airport security, which is always fun for a guy in the middle skeleton.

Wolverine has night terrors. Yeah. He's got post-traumatic stress in front of a motherfucker. I mean, they get into that in origin.

He can just do a mattress just pretty quickly. Sorry, I mean interrupt your credit. That's why he always sleeps like flop houses, so he just doesn't care what he tears up. Yeah, I didn't mean interrupt your credit scene.

Go ahead. But to walk in through, he sees an advertisement for Trask Robotics, which is setting up Peter Dinklage to be a Boulevard Trask, the inventor of the new hunting robot Sentinels. Can I go over the Sentinels from the cartoon? Yeah.

I love that. Well, they hinted at them in X-Men 3 in the danger room. That is true. There was the- And the other fast-fossed special where Colossus-Thors will bring the sentinel.

But he's about to go through airport security and all of a sudden, all the metal certs, like shaking. And behind him is Magneto. Using his powers, which he had taken away. But then kind of hinted at that you kind of still retained them at the end of X-Men 3.

Yeah. And he's like, look, I need your help. Something horrible is going to be happening. It's about to go down.

It's about to get real. And Wolverine turns Magneto and says, why should I trust you? You know, fuck off. And Magneto says, well, if you're not going to take my word for it, how about his?

And he turns around and there's Professor Axe. Patrick Stewart, Professor Axe. He uses his ability to stop everyone moving like he did in the museum in X-Men 3. I was going to say that was X-Men 2.

And you see Anna Pacman's giant rack. I watch Triplet. I see her rack like, quite some of them. Well, it's just more that it's the scene and the reveal on her is wearing like an off-the-shoulder lowcut shirts.

And it's just like all cleavage and you're like, she's pretty young at this. Or at least her character is. It's kind of cleavage for a teenager. Was she naked in the piano?

I was more talking about the character as opposed to him. I think she was in her 20s when this was happening. But yeah. It's just one of those things where you're like, it's kind of cleavage for a teenager.

And then you think to yourself, oh wait, I wore a wee worship in that when I was a teenager. All the hormones in milk. Given boobs. Don't look like that.

I want to say something really inappropriate right now. Keep it to myself. So yeah, so it asks the questions. How do my kid was going to power us back?

Professor X is alive? You know, like what the fuck? And of course, you know, like what is the threat that would pull Magneto and Professor X together again? Since the last time they did that was against Striker in X-Men 2.

Since we got a lot of X-Men 2. X-Men 2 was finally enjoyable. Oh man, that first five minutes of just the Nightcrawler attack on the White House is easily one of my favorite- Yes, it's only coming since Nightcrawler. Alan, no.

He's so good. And I love all the scarification they have on him. Very well done. It was a weird way to convey that he has religion.

I mean, it was easiest way to give him some more deficit. Well, and it gave him a bit of like literal texture. Like it kind of made him stand out other than being blue and having three fingers. Banff.

Banff. But just, yeah, that minute where, yeah, they opened the door from the Oval Office into like the security post. It's just full of his like Banff smoke. And that tail comes out and grabs the guy.

And the door closes again. It's just like this fucking Banff. And the bullet time of him teleporting and just kicking people as he goes. I'm just saying that theater is just being like awesome.

Yeah, it's like, that movie could have ended up in the first five minutes. So great. And that was probably, I think, the best of the X-Men trilogy. I think I will agree with you on that.

I like it a lot. So, yeah, Wolverine, I recommend it. It was fun. Love it or shovel it.

Love it. It was a lot of fun. It was, I think it made up for Origin where it's like, no, let's just, like, not pretend it didn't happen, but like, look, that was bad. It's like with the Incredible Hulk versus Angles Hulk where it's like, yes, the audience will forgive you for a bad movie.

Just kind of do a reboot or a sock reboot and just move on. Just move on. We're like, look guys, we're sorry about that Origin thing. And my little shiny things over here.

And my little, but my one little nitpicky thing was that you had all the ninjas and I got really excited that it was going to be the hand. Oh, thank God. Ninjas. Oh, thank God.

The Flash reference. But they called them the Black Clan or the Black, or the, they have a good name for them. They didn't call them the hand. And I don't know.

One, I was a little irritated. I'm like, just call them the fucking hand. That's what they are. But then I was kind of going, well, I don't know who owns the rights to the hand based on, I think another studio has the rights to, I think it's Fox that put out Daredevil and, uh, Electra, a little, yeah, a little bile and we both said Electra.

And I think they referred to the clan that Electra belongs to in that movie as the hand. I don't know. I don't think I'm actually seriously watching that movie. I think I saw bits and pieces, but I don't think I ever sat down and actually watched it.

But that's also because I do not much character Jennifer Garner. I think she's not a hard time walking away. What I heard it was going to be, once again, what I heard it was going to be roughly based on Frank Miller's Electro-Assassin, which was a mind, I mean, I love Electro-Assassin. I'm just going to have to call this episode.

Frank Miller is awesome. Yeah. Miller's clapping. We'll call it.

What's the rumpus? But yeah, when you write it, it was going to be on roughly based on Electra-Assassin. I was really excited and then I saw it and that I wasn't that excited anymore. So, and if you like David Max Art, you'll probably love Electro-Assassin.

It's probably very influential to Mac. I'm going to go and let him say that. Just looking at his art versus Miller's art at that point. Oh, no.

I'm sorry. That wasn't, Frank Miller did not draw that. That was Bill Senquitz, which I know, I think I read that he did influence Mac. Help Senquitz influence me.

So, yeah. You had an internet told me I was wrong this week, too. Yeah, and this is, we'll use it as an ex-medicine jumping lockpoint, was that for months, if not years now, I have maintained that Peter Dinklage played the little person in in Rouge, and I was extremely right. It's actually Jordan Prentice.

That's Peter Dinklage. I thought it was Peter Dinklage, too. Everyone thought it. But I also watched him Rouge in a number of years because I hate the soundtrack to that movie so much.

I don't even pay attention to these. I don't even pay attention to these. Is that Rimble? That Rimble is coming.

Yeah. Look at that bottle of Fireball. It's just bringing up all the wrong kind of stomach memories. Okay.

I like the nose and his head just like the design on the bottle. I like that when you turn it around, it has the faux hole, the back label so you can see the demon on the other side. I just like the styling of the bottle. Yes.

So that was going to say I did not realize that wasn't particularly good. Jordan Prentice said it has one of your favorite lines in it from top three lines, which I was going to say you said that. It makes you feel any better. I was on a very powerful horse tranquilizer.

And I can't remember. I'm going to paraphrase. It's one of two different lines. But it's Colin Farrell saying it's either, yeah, can I give horse tranquilizers to a midget or you can't give a midget horse tranquilizers?

It's in my top three lines of cinematic history. I love that line. It's just the befuddled look he has on his face of like, well, I waved at the midget and he didn't wait back. Well, he was on ketamine.

What's ketamine? It's a very powerful horse tranquilizer. Yeah. Can't give horse a closer to a midget.

It's Jordan Prentice. So I'm sorry, Mr. Prentice. Thank you, Internet, for telling me I was wrong.

And yes, thank you, Internet, for telling me I was wrong. So it mistakes I made this week. I was super late at night and I was been exhausted from work because I've been training a new girl and working too much. And our non-turner and I decided that we wanted to watch cartoons so that we're from when we were younger, that we might not have completely understood how awesome they were at the time.

Like, we liked them, but we wanted to re-watch them now to see what we missed. So he went and got me, freakazoid. And we're sitting down and watch it. It's not freakazoid as in the one we watched.

It's freakazoid dubbed in Russian. You think freakazoid is hilarious now? Watch freakazoid dubbed in Russian? Them singing the theme song had me in like fits of laughter.

Awesome. It was just one of those things like imagine, you know, because the song is freakazoid. Now imagine that sounding kind of angry in Russian. It was amazing.

I love it. I was gonna say we didn't watch very much of it because that's not what we were looking for at the time, but it was still just one of those mistakes that happened that it was hilarious. It's like if you ever watch Pinky in the brain dubbed for Iceland and Pinky sounds like Bjork. Oh, I can think of it as the Chris Hardwick doing Bjork voice.

Yeah, no, Pinky sounds like Bjork if you listened to a Pinky in the brain dubbed for Iceland. Hmm. Awesome. Oh, Pinky in the brain.

It was one of the better episodes than ever ever you listened to. I went back and listened to the Murray-Slimarche Rob Paulson episode. Every time he gets two voice actors on, it's always just selling gold. You get to hear Pinky in the brain say the dirtiest, profane stuff.

I mean nothing will ever be hearing a brain called Pinky account. It's just wonderful. Oh, well. And I didn't know that where it's Will Marsh was two Kinsam.

He's been like two Kinsam for like 18 years. I think it was him who was doing his little Chihuahua bark. No, that was the Billy West Joanna Maggio. Oh, you're right.

Okay. He's just talking about making the dog bark doing the once twice. Yeah, that's... Yeah, that's...

Yeah. It's just pretty spot on for dogs. Yeah, the increasingly neurotic barking of the Chihuahua. So what made me very sad this week is I was sitting watching Futurama and realizing that it's almost over sad.

It's only a handful that was so sad. I was going to say I've left Futurama and there's so many lines in that that are just part of my regular vernacular now. Yeah. Like shut up and take my money.

And, um, what was the other one I'm going to do? It's going to piss me off until I remember that. It's the... I'm sick of...

Oh, no, no. I say that one all the time. I'm sick of this room and everyone in it. So long jerkwads.

But that's not the one I was going to say. It was one about beer making you stupid. And he's like, no, man, doesn't. No, man, doesn't.

No, man, doesn't. I thought we shot up and take my money. Which is funny because that's the iPhone episode. I say that about all sorts of things.

Shut up and take my money. It's become like... Mr. President.

What the hell? Mr. President. What the hell?

I thought that was the first part of the game. I was like, oh, I'm not saying that. I was so cleverly written. And, like I said, just become a part of my everyday vernacular and syntax.

I don't even think about it when I'm saying it. And I love all the site gags that they walked past... When they finally logged on to the internet after using their AOL battle. The pop-up started attacking them.

That's the same episode where Kasey also reverts back to the Mary with Children character. No, that's the one where she finds the... Yeah, that's the one they got with the internet on. But that's not the one they got with the internet on.

No, the one they got the internet on. They download Lucille Lou. Oh, this is a different one. on the internet playing some game and that's where she meets the one-eyed guy.

Yeah yeah and she ends up doing yeah they did the marriage to her dad. If you could change shape why didn't you change it where it mattered. Yeah. It's something about watering the plants by putting them in the farthest corner of the bathroom.

There's a lot we have where Fry's in the dungeon they make some joke about how he's like oh I poop in the same corner either like use a different corner and he's like oh yeah the fact that yeah Fry's not smarter than a dog. Fry's the only one left from the 20th century and he's not smarter than a dog. And I'd be remiss if we mentioned dog and Futurama and not talk about these saddest episodes of like all television which is the dog in that the dog episode is just heart-ranging. I will watch it like I it's it's too emotionally racking.

Well it's one of those things it's like there's certain episodes with almost any show that you get into you where the episode leaves such a bad taste in your mouth you almost have to watch another one cleanser palette and that's one of them. That's not a bad taste it's an amazing episode but it's just so sad. Oh god. It's dealing with death of an animal is always sadder than death of an animal.

Well like that it waited for him it waited for him. Oh. See we need to stop talking about it we're gonna get all sad emo. Oh Misty Eyed over here.

Well you watched Lyre Lyre let's talk about that. Let's talk about it. Alec Lyre. Exactly.

Does not hold up. It's one of those where I'm like I can say why I loved it when I was like 14. Yeah but parts of it are still really funny. Um the fighting with the pen is still really funny.

There are a few stray lines that are still really funny. Well I like when he beats the crap out of himself and they're making him describe his assailant. Yeah it's what like six one kind of gangly good teeth. Yeah or it's like what are you doing on kick in the crap out of myself do you mind?

Yeah I mean there were still I mean in the connection with him in the claw and his kid it's like always the claw. It's the inside joke between father and son and then when her boyfriend tries to do it. Carry always. And he totally just hits the claw.

Just the claw. So awkwardly trying. And he's so and it's funny because Jim Carrey describes Carrey always character in a way that I would describe the character myself is like kind of a goo. I'm like yeah it's the nice guy that doesn't really get it and he's trying so hard for something that's just never going to be what he wants it to be.

I know but he's so nice that at the end of the movie it's like the kid goes do we have to move the Boston and the guy just like looks and goes no no you don't. But it's one of those things that he totally gets and you're like okay and realize that that's fucked up like she's not going to move to Boston with him. He's bonded with the kid. He had proposed like he said I love you while she was drinking and she said thank you.

And he's like hurt he's hurt. But it's something that I like the fact that it's addressed sometimes in movies like that where you know what just because somebody's a nice guy and there's nothing wrong with him doesn't mean you can be with that person. Sometimes they're just not the right person for you. And on that note there's a movie that I'm going to watch and I'll let you know about it called Unhung Hero.

Okay. And apparently it's based on this guy's real life experience where he proposed to his girlfriend. She said no and he found out it's because she thought his penis was small. And he kind of like goes out and tries to like deal with his insecurity and I don't know if it's like comedy documentary style or...

It's really sad Doug. Um well it's probably not going to be sadder than the bridge but... Oh man cool. Um the only thing that makes the bridge okay is listening to Kyle Canane talk about it.

They caught him. I mean not literally but on tape. It's gonna say Boston didn't talk about it if he ever decided to check out. He'd go out with a question mark instead of a period.

I think I can make it. What was he trying to make? I was gonna say a small glass of water and an umbrella. Is this guy like the worst daredevil ever?
