#11 Montero y Murillo

“I’m all about yin and yang. I’m yin, Jessie’s yang. He’s the fucking piece of shit side of me and I’m the perfect angel baby boy.” This episode was recorded at Back Alley Studios and features the funny and talented Austin Montero and Jessie Murillo of Montero y Murillo. We talk about a whole bunch of stuff like the evolution of their friendship and musical interests, a $20 acoustic guitar from a local hardware store, Pikachu’s butthole, Dwayne The Rock Johnson T-shirts, recording farts to incorporate into Christmas songs, and so much more. We also play an original game called Soundtrack to Your Life for the first time on the show! Most importantly, Austin and Jessie explain why they make music. Featured tracks: Now That You're Gone and Fake Dreams.
