11 - Pumpkin Spice

It's in your coffee, it's in your candles, and now it's in your favorite RPG music podcast. We hope you enjoyed the fun, chatty atmosphere of our last episode, because this one's going to take you to some darker places. Pumpkin Spice is the flavor of the season, and we decided to pay tribute to the months of orange and gold by featuring some of the best music to accompany your autumnal adventures or Halloween playlist. Our picks range from warm and welcoming to cold and foreboding, making this episode wonderfully evocative for those cool October nights. Oh, and we apologize in advance for the nightmare fuel near the end of the episode…. or do we? Of note is a special arrangement of the Rhythm Encounter theme music, making its debut in this episode courtesy of Sean Schafianski (@VGMRemastered on Twitter). We recently reviewed his Final Fantasy VII Remastered Tracks Vol. 1 album, and we've got more coverage of his music coming soon. Thanks for making us sound great, Sean! As always, we welcome any feedback you may have, including topic suggestions, track requests, or ideas for how we can improve. (We also love fanmail! Hint hint.)
