11-S: ONE DECADE, ONE GENERATION

from Podcast de PANGEA

On 11th September 2001, few minutes before 9 o'clock (NY time), USA and the rest of the world attended, sadly, to a historical change. Majority of population throughout the Earth watched on live how two planes crashed against the Twin Towers in New York City, and how after, that another aircraft did the same at the Pentagone in Washington DC. Less than 3,000 people died. It has been the worst attack suffered by USA on its ground. There are lots of conspiracies about it. Later, Afghanistan and Irak wars happened. A new international concern, world terrorism, developed strongly. In that time George W. Bush was the US President, now it's Barack Obama's turn. From Mundonoticiass want to dedicate a tribute to 9/11. This special report is focused on the people of the future: youth. What's the role that youth is playing in all of this? Lots of young people, from everywhere, share their impressions, their feelings about that moment. In addition, FERNANDO GUTIÉRREZ CHICO interviews Benjamin Kappel, a 20-years-old American boy, borned in New York, but living in Georgia state, who comments how he observes the current American young society.
