11. Sam - Control Is Out Of Our Hands

Hello and welcome back to the Small Birth Project. Thank you for down loading my latest podcast! Today’s podcast was recorded on my due date, so was a pretty important milestone! By the time you hear this though, Baby Small will have arrived!! So freaking exciting!! Today you will be meeting my beautiful friend Sam. Sam and I have known each other for a mere 2 years and met through one of my best friend’s Emma, but I feel like Sam and I have known each other forever, I just adore her. Emma and Sam are now partners and are both so very incredibly important in my life. Sam’s story is extremely unique and I think surprised us both as to how very emotional we both felt during the recording. I knew very little about Sam’s birth story, except that it ended in a Caesarean, but there is so much more to it than that. And I feel that her story is so important for those of us who may not be prepared for something that we don’t want. Sam’s story is the very reason why I decided to start this podcast. I hope you love Sam’s honesty and transparency as much as I do.
