11: SEXTUPLETS?

from The Happy Hour Newscast Hosted by The Happy Hour

Happy February and Black History Month! In the continuing excitement (*ahem* chaos) it may be hard to find the good news you need to get out of bed each day. Hosts Malakai and shaylyn are here to share some happy stories you may have missed, and provide some positive perspective on the biggest headlines of the week. They are joined by ABC7 KGO Bay Area digital production assistant and 2019 SF State grad Lola Chase to talk about their experiences working in broadcast news and expressing authentic identity in the workplace. And a special Valentine’s Day cocktail! Rate and review if you want a cocktail made in your honor. Listen anywhere you get your podcasts, and find us on Instagram @thhpodcast and on Twitter @happyhournews. Also, the recipe for this week’s tailor-made cocktail can be found on our website here. Thank you to Arman Billimoria for our theme music. Pour yourself a glass of your favorite beverage and enjoy this week’s episode, now independently produced by Malakai Wade and shaylyn martos. Additional music used: “swinging,” “night sky” and “big band” by Dee Yan-Key from Free Music Archive.
