Diakrino means to separate, make a distinction, discriminate, to prefer. Distazo means to duplicate, to waver in opinion, to think twice, to have a second thought. Rom 4:20 KJV  He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; Abraham didn't diakrino or doubt.  He didn't doubt or didn't pause or hesitate through unbelief.   Unbelief means lack of faith.  So Abraham didn't doubt through a lack of faith. So unbelief or apistia is remedied by hearing and hearing the word. Distazo means to duplicate, to think twice, to have a second thought. You change your conviction after you begin to walk by faith.
