#11. In this episode, we are interviewing Somer Baburek, co-founder and CEO of Hera Biotech, and Apoorva Chintala, co-founder and CEO of Clocr. Somer and Apoorva both won the KS WELI pitch competition this spring, Dream to Venture, where they were awarded a $10,000 non-diluted grant. Somer currently serves as the President & CEO of Hera Biotech, a women’s health company focused on commercializing a non-surgical diagnostic for early detection of endometriosis. Somer earned her MBA with a specialization in Data Analytics, from Louisiana State University. Additionally, Somer attended the University of Texas San Antonio where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in entrepreneurship. Apoorva Chintala is the CEO and co-founder of Clocr. She started Clocr in 2018 after her grandfather passed away to help people safeguard and pass on their legacy to their loved ones.
