#11: Studying in Bangkok, rejecting family expectations & fighting mental health w/ Rike Grünberg

Rike stands out as unique to us as she figured out very early on in life that Germany wasn't ever going to be her forever home. She left the country at the young age of 18 to search for the place in the world where she felt like she belonged.Through a working holiday in Australia, partying while backpacking through Southeast Asia, heading out on solo travels around Japan, and getting stuck in Colombia during COVID, Rike finally found an opportunity studying at a private university in Bangkok. It was in Thailand that Rike finally kickstarted her adult life, found her community, and her home base!
