On Friday July 27, 1975 two teenage boys out for a walk along the many trails peppered throughout Brantford, Ontario, discovered the body of Edward (Teddy) Chadwick floating in the Grand River. Edward wasn't known to swim, having suffered damage to a leg and arm as a result of a very bad car accident in 1966, which left him in a coma for 6 weeks. His body was pulled from the river, and although he suffered some injuries, such as a bloody nose, his cause of death was drowning. The family believe they know what happened, but no one is talking and his Fiancee is still heartbroken with no closure in sight Sources: Brantford Expositor, July 28, 1975 Article Brantford Expositor, July 30, 1975 Article Brantford Expositor, October 29, 2005 Interviews and information from police original podcast content. website: www.truecrimerealtimepod.com Brantford Police: (519) 756-7050
