As I reflect on why I decided to be a business owner it came back to God showing me what He wanted me to do. In the process of my reflection, I asked myself why I took the path to be a business owner after working over 20 years in the field of mental health and education. I discovered my “why” and that “why” is what led me to continue to work in the field of helping others as a business owner. Figuring out my “why” I am now able to help my staff and clients.What is entrepreneurship to you? Taking on a lot of risk and responsibility is the core of entrepreneurship. If money is the reason you should re-evaluate your “why” because money should not be the core of wanting to become your own boss.My “why” is freedom. The freedom to follow my instincts, make the best administration decisions and follow what I believe is the right thing to do. What’s your reason why? Why do you want to be an entrepreneur?
