110 - Cherries Asunder After Referee Blunder

from Back Of The Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast · host Back of the Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast

Bournemouth made hard work of the beautiful game against yet another team in the bottom half of the table on Saturday as Luton Town emerged 1-0 winners at Dean Court in a deserved victory where Cherries simply did not do enough. Despite sporadic moments of near-joy, Cherries look disjointed and asunder - a far cry from the Championship winning side of 6/7 years ago. If we're thinking promotion, we might need to think again. It wasn't just Bmth that weren’t at the races, the ref wasn’t either. A diabolical performance from the man in the middle. He drove down from the North East to officiate today - yet more pointless travel over a long distance during Covid, and... just like Dominic Cummings, maybe he needed an eye test too - as he sent off Lerma with one of the worst reds we have seen. Despite that, Cherres kept on trying to walk it into the box, and Luton were clinical when they needed to be. In this podcast, Sam Davis is joined by Jeff Hayward, Mr Tigz and  Tom Jordan to dissect the game, plus we hear a snippet of an extended interview which is on Youtube, and will be arriving on your podcast app next week!
