In the wake of COP26 we continue the conversation around the environment and sustainability for business. Michael O’Hara Co-Founder of Techies Go Green and Managing Director of DataSolutions joined John to speak about how within the IT industry and through the organisation Techies Go Green over 150 companies have pledged to be Carbon Neutral by 2030. Sage, the accounting and business software group like many companies started out small, but now employs thousands of people around the world. Barry Murphy, Managing Director of Sage Ireland spoke with John about the history of the Company, the services it offers and how advancements in technology may play its part for business in the future.With air quality never more important, John spoke with Paul Broderick, General Manager of the Pembroke Hotel in Kilkenny about new equipment and measures that they have taken to ensure better air quality within their premises.Julie Power is the 6th generation of her family to be involved in the seed business and she joined John to tell him more Connecting to Nature her company which offers wildflower seed and Irish Wild bird food to customers online.
