110 - This Makes It Clear—We Take Our Turns (Part 6)

2 Corinthians 4:7 We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. Some of the greatest treasure on earth  is found in the most fragile of jars. Does anyone come to your mind?  I have faces in my mind right now as I think of my own friends who are fragile due to health issues, or the health issues of their loved ones, or whatever may afflict them - yet their great power is from God. Which doesn’t mean they are all sunshine and rainbows all the time.  What it means to me is, still they persevere. Their “great power” is the grace to hold on — the great power to persevere.
