Scripture: Revelation 2:1-5 Topic: Repentance Notes: - We’re not going to heaven because we believe in Jesus, but because we follow Him- We’ve left our first love; the relationship is not what it was- It is backsliding when I don’t love Him with my whole heart, mind, soul, body, and strength- Repent and do the first works, the basics of Christianity- Some Christians are never satisfied... because they’re not satisfied with Jesus- Once you’ve had an experience with Jesus, nothing else satisfies- Give me more of Jesus... then you operate in the Spirit- When you have Jesus, you have everything- Must hunger for Jesus... I’ve had to pray my way back- You’re baptized into Christ once, but can be baptized in the Spirit over and over- Baseball, golf boring... my mind is on Jesus
