Andreea Font is a Reader at Astrophysics Research Institute (ARI) at Liverpool John Moores University and a member of the Computational Cosmology group at ARI. Andreea's research interests are in the area of formation and evolution of galaxies and on the nature of dark matter. A lot of her research focuses on modelling the properties of our own Galaxy, the Milky Way and of other 'Milky Way analogues'. To this end, recently constructed a suite of Milky Way-type simulations called ARTEMIS, which enabled the ability to compare theoretical models.
