I think environment is important for EVERYONE but especially for our empathetic creative folks… what we keep around us, our physical environment, the people in our life, the LIGHTING… is so important. And I’ve struggled with this one myself because at many stages in my business, I didn’t have the funds to have my own office or studio, maybe I was working in my dining room - and even now when I DO have an office, I still find myself back in my dining room surrounded by my son doing art projects and right in the middle of everything. So while today’s challenge is about upgrading our workspace, I want us to think about it a little differently than we have before. So start a notes tab in your phone or a page in your journal, and we’ll be taking some notes during the process on the next five days. On that blank page, I want you to answer these questions: where do I feel most inspired? (Is it outside? In your kitchen? by window light? In a coffee shop?) Or think about some of the details of the last time you felt super motivated and inspired (even if it was years ago) - where were you and what in your environment contributed to that feeling? After you take some time to write that down and think about it, I want you to choose ONE thing to do to upgrade your inspired workspace. One thing.
