We explore prestige and how the pursuit of prestigious positions or companies impacts us in different ways, from the stories we tell to the positions we take. It's understandable that we use prestige to catch eyes when a notable name might buy us a few more seconds in front of a potential employer. We're naturally going to consider what working in a particular position or at a particular company means as we decide which recruiter calls to return and where to put our energy.
