True Leguizamo fan and genius funny person, Jude Perl, joins us this week to chat about "Summer of Sam" - Jude's favourite Legz movie!"Summer of Sam" is a 1999 drama/thriller directed by Spike Lee. The film is set in New York in 1977 - right in the middle of a sexual revolution. New York is haunted by a deranged serial killer that is infamously known as Son Of Sam. Vinny (play by John Leguizamo) is an Italian/American hairdresser that has the misfortune of seeing some of the serial killer's victims after narrowly escaping the killer himself. Vinny and his mates (along with the entire neighbourhood) become deeply invested in finding Son Of Sam... but also manage to find plenty of time to do lots of drugs and have lots of sex with various female character actors from the 90s.
