#112 What Is Retrograde Shadow Period?

We've all heard people using the terminology, but what exactly is the retrograde shadow period and is it exclusive to Mercury? According to astrologers, there is more than one definition for a shadow period and I attempt to clarify this for you all – as Mercury is in his pre-shadow and entering retrograde motion! As this is the case, apologies if I don't actually offer a decent explanation.
