This current affairs podcast tries to unpick all things British politics over the last couple of weeks. With an analysis of parliamentary affairs, major political events, media headlines and viral moments - we aim to make sense of this tumultuous time in politics. In this episode, we tackle the bombshell news from Westminster - Liz Truss has resigned. She becomes the shortest-serving UK Prime Minister. We talk through her resignation statement, the events leading to the statement and what lies ahead for the Conservative Party. We also discuss reactions from the Labour Party and look back on Liz Truss’ 45 days in office.
