Em 1984 o brasileiro Amyr Klink fez o que muitos consideravam impossível: atravessou o oceano Atlântico em um barco a remo — se tornando a primeira pessoa no mundo a realizar o feito. Seis anos depois, Amyr viajou até a Antártica, onde passou 13 meses, sendo sete deles com o barco imobilizado no meio do gelo. Não bastassem esses feitos, em 1998 Amyr ainda deu uma volta ao mundo da maneira mais curta, mas também mais difícil possível: por meio da circunavegação polar. Depois de encarar ventos de 120 km/h, um iceberg de 40 metros de altura e enfrentar uma tempestade por 50 horas seguidas, Amyr cumpriu o feito. Um aventureiro? ele garante que não é, que tudo que fez foi na base de muito planejamento e preparação. "Diziam que era impossível, mas o impossível só é impossível porque ninguém fez", disse ao podcast.
