Crónicas is a 2004 Ecuadorian thriller/drama. The film tells the story of Manolo Bonilla - an unscrupulous journalist from Miami who is in Ecuador to report on the impact of a serial killer known as The Monster of Babahoyo. Lots happens. Lots of stuff about challenging ethical journalism. Lots of stuff about murder. It's dark. We honestly can't say much without spoiling the film. John Leguizamo plays Manolo, the journalist.
