#113 True Grace (Passover/Communion)

from IM Podcasts · host Dr. Stephen Phinney

Passover, considered by many the watershed event in Jewish history, is the oldest of the Jewish Festivals. It was initially a very simple observance. The origin elements were matzah (unleavened bread/flesh without sin), lamb (symbol of the Messiah), blood (sacrifice) and bitter herbs (tears of bitterness/bondage). The goal of this tradition was to pass the story on to the generations of God’s faithfulness and redemption from the hands of the great Pharaoh (Satan) while in the bondage in the land of Egypt.
