So I'll watch the motorbike office, how I've been travelling once, as they drive past them, we set the lights on the trucks, they just end and they just end everyone. My brother's girlfriend got done with the, you know, the motorbike cameras, they've got them all the sides of the rides, they're temporary ones, they're doing pole things. So she's not holding the phone, it's converted. No, no, you see my phone, they got a touch.

Okay, about today on that show. I don't know, I was answering the call because my car doesn't have Bluetooth, you're supposed to be able to enter the call. They said tonight, you're loud as long as it's in a cradle. Yeah, and it's time to answer it and hang out.

What's the difference between driving along and going like this on the radio, changing channels, right? Turned down, enter, you know. Yeah, but then it starts to come in and answer it. Oh, I got the motorbike on my face.

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, listening to the old tour car podcast hosted by Villarona's Co-hosting tonight, Velluma Stuffer. Welcome. G'day. And joining us tonight is Tom the Raving Reporter.

G'day, how are you doing? And we've got a special, good school holidays and we're a week behind, but it's glad it's told us to stay at home. And we're at home now and there's five of us around the table. So we're doing a special school holiday, Ls and Ps.

So we've got a representative for the Ls, learner permit, our enochloricopolis, but as soon as we say, enochloricopolis. Welcome. And representing the Ps is Teodithimatrakis. There you go.

Hey, good. Speak a bit louder. Hi. There you go.

So basically, we just want to know, it's been a while since Howard and Tom and myself have had Ls and Ps. Sort of know how different it was. He's losing your license and getting a backpack. Baman has gone back on your face.

Just a week. But really? I took the two point. Yeah, for ten years.

You had to go back on your face. No, I took the two point option once. Yeah, to check the two points. I was doing a lot of things.

It was different. Actually, in the mid 90s, I got disqualified. So I lost my license through course. And then I had to go home, please.

Come on, look at that. It's two years. It's a new license. Or if you're a digital license for more than two years or something, you're going to go, no.

And this is your sad part. So if you're listening to everybody's earlier or around the world. So let's start with it. So, are we welcome?

May I have all the different bit of girls now? Six. Sixteen years old. And you want the ones that were waiting for your birthday that go down there and get us right away?

Nah, I'm in that many way, often my exams. No, I see. Yeah, but you're not one of those movie kids. Like you wanted to start learning how to drive.

Yes, and I wasn't really too fast about it. I took my time looking at this. Lot of your friends got it. Like the ratio of your friends.

My friends were jumping on their license. I know some of them were screaming at me saying, why don't you go to birthday? Oh my god, I really want you. And how you do it?

Is it online? Is it down at the R&S? Yeah, so I think I'm so shocked about the old trial assessment from there. And you can do a couple of practice tests.

Pretty much just like, if you feel what the actual test is. On the way to the website. Yeah, on the website. OK.

And after much on the right hand side, I'll use the option of clicking a little bit of the test. I'll take you to a different page where you click. So I'll go different from the nearest office. And I'll go different.

Yeah. And yeah, from there on. You're there. It's not a few drives.

I have one of the people that I'm looking for. The what you call the log book. We've got a log book. So basically, you do your, it's a computer test.

So you're not going to be on the car yet. No, no, no. And is there a section where you get, you've got to be perfect. Is it like, split into a different section?

There's two different sections. What's different? So it's over here. You're going to know.

It was out of 45 questions. I think it was even the last five of the last 10. You have to get all right. Perfect.

And that's like the second signs. Right. You know, the signs, breath testing. Yeah.

And the breath testing was one of 40 questions. You could get two wrong in the first part. And you're not. And Tiana, how'd you go?

I mean, you've done the same test. Oh, yeah. I did the same thing. And you smashed it, right?

Oh, yeah. First test. Got you. You did?

Yeah. Yeah. That's what I'm lying. I did the lying.

Well, that's a true test. But yeah, so basically, you get, then you get your ills. Like they take photos. It's like a proper license.

And then it's still green. Oh, you're actually going to get your paper. And then you're going to have a whole. OK.

Yeah. Because the photos. Yeah. I actually tell you brought in the log book.

So basically, when you sit down both of them and you're on your ills and you drive, you have to fill in the log book. And it's got things like, what's in it? It's on the conditions. Well, they just, you know, however you say, discriminacy in these times.

There's never a one or a two or a two, it's always 10 hours 35 hours. You're right. You're right. I thought I had it there.

I was going to put in the fish at the place. Yeah. Yeah. Because it's not going to be exactly.

Yeah. That's right. But it doesn't say how fast you went. That's been gone.

No, no, no, no. That's speed column. And so basically, how many hours? So you need to complete the log book.

Some matter of 2017 and being able to get your piece. You have to satisfy. What is it? Is it by time?

Is it hours? Conditions? Is it by hours? Actually, no.

That should be a few requirements. You got to drive in the rain, driving the night. And overall, you have to complete 120 hours. Yeah.

I should not be sure. It's a bummer if there's a drill there. Yeah. Yeah.

Something to do you're adding to the bush. Just as I was. That's like, it's a mess. The nape, I know, because I've got the sprinklers on it.

You've got to drive down the road. I've been down the road. You've been bad, you've been bad. You've been bad.

Oh, there's been a lack of pea play. There's this sheet because it hasn't rain for a year. And I was in the drought. But I think it's also going to be in your house for a year, I believe.

Yeah. Yeah. Because I could only go until like 2017. And then.

Save it if you do the hours. Yeah. You still? Yeah.

Somehow smash it out in two months. Yeah. Yeah. You still have to wait.

Well, there was a man of mine who used to drive. His son. Well, his son and his mate used to drive the walk, like, wag her back on weekends. He used to just copy hours, jump in the car, one used to drive the other used to drive back.

I don't know 120 hours. It sounds like a lot. It's a bit of a margin. Yeah.

Absolutely. You're a lot way away. Yeah. He's at 20 or 40 in the night.

Like there's a certain requirement that you have to do in the night tonight. Put certain hours. How many hours in the rain? Oh, that doesn't matter.

They don't look at how much you've done in the rain. You just have to do all road conditions. So as long as you've ticked the rain. Yeah.

You have to do, you know, rain, heavy traffic, light traffic, you get to do all the water. Oh, yeah. And who signs off does the normally be apparent next year? Tom, as a parent, was like, having to see her.

Depends on what passes. Usually your shit passes get started off. I did not. I didn't see you doing it.

You taught me to be for one manual lesson in the van. And I remember going off the street, turning right, and parking on like that's even done. Look, I can't have a responsibility to another. OK.

Or what are those? Listen, I can't see your child in the car. Like, magic field. There's one comment.

She chucked the U.E. Yeah. And I would have reversed back. Oh, I guess.

She spread all the way. I'm not worried. I'm not going to have to be with that. Oh, that was her attitude.

That's the problem. We haven't got to page yet. My dad, I remember I said, I want to drive a manual. Because he had more money cars.

He said, I want to drive a manual as well. But did we? We didn't have a separate. There was no one.

No. No. No. That was it.

And I said, I want to drive a manual. But go. You don't have no money car. Then we had a family friend that had a manual.

And then he goes, you can take my car and teach him. And my dad looked at me. He goes, you take him. Teach him.

So, he came back. So the guy said, I'm not going to take him. He goes, you know, you're all right with that. Came back and he goes, maybe you should see to a manual.

And how'd you go? Look, we started off pretty good. And then we came up to the roundabouts. And you know, you were soft and sour with the clutch.

Oh, and I was going down and turning the right foot around the barrel. I was in third year. I tried dropping into second. Oh, I pushed the two foot back.

And I actually put him to the fourth. And I took him around the barrel. He was pretty much like jumping all the way around. Yeah.

And I was in the worst bit. And then I had that how they had an island. Someone was a pole in the middle of the island. I feel like I was just going straight to the pole.

And that had the jump in the ground. Oh, so you did you? Pull it over. See, you did.

You bleed over. And who's mainly your little instructor? Or mental mentor? My girl with mommy on the floor.

And how's mom? Oh, god. She can be a pain sometimes. So actually, she's already back here.

Yeah. I'm not sure about this. Okay. So she has this habit.

She thinks I'm speeding all the time. You probably like, no, no, no, no. I'll never see you. So.

You guys are saying the top choking? Oh, we're on the main road. I think it's feeling a bit. I'm 60.

It's not going to go. It's 60. Anyway, I'll go over the month. I was grabbing the door.

Not to get it. I was holding up. My mommy, what were you doing? You guys are already speeding.

I'm like, mom, I'm doing 50. So she's sitting in the passenger seat now. So anything over walking past these seats? Oh, yeah.

It's scary. Because she can't sit at the speedo. And even though my cars are due to a week, you can't sleep. No, she leans over.

She leans over. She leans over. She leans over 50. And she goes over to the 60s.

She goes over to the speed. So you see, that's nice. I'm going to do all that. Because any other day, it would be a slap over the back of the head.

You're sliding out. Just leaning. That would have been a sleep. Yeah.

I'll drive. I'll drive. I'll drive. I'll drive.

Getting people there. That's how it might all. That's how it might all. We.

What I had to do was walk in with some of person who gets to a different RTI. And you just bug it else. No, we got to do it. Because this is my 120 out of 20.

I'm still on the test. Oh, it's still on the work. This is where I was going to explain. Our test was a four sets of out of 20.

Yeah, they get minimum 17. And the only four sets of tests. Is that how you got to remember? The stabilizers.

There's only four sets. And remember the digital watches that get safe. Yeah, someone had the program with the four sets of tests. Yes, it could copy the answers down.

Look, that was, at least the test was tougher than when my dad got his license in the 50s. He went up to the guy and he goes, what do I have to do? He goes, there's 10 things you have to do. And because it was something like one, one, one, one shilling per question.

But you could only have a maximum of five. So you go for it, shilling, yeah, there's five questions. There's no other five of the yes. No, some people study it and knock it over.

The last time I sat there for my, the bike license. Oh, friend of mine earlier, and obviously at the only after we've done that event, the course of the bikes, we sat there by the time I'd finished reading the first question, I look up, he's already walking away. Oh, I must have failed already. Can you make sure he waits?

Oh, he's waiting for you. He's passed. He's finished. He's already finished.

He's already finished. He's already finished. He's now in half later. I finished.

They're in half. Yeah, difficulties. I broke it to a sweat. I think it would have failed.

Like, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's almost put stress. Yeah, but it's still a stress for me. He studied for a week.

I didn't study at all. Yeah, but you can find the questions online. Like, I've seen it. You're doing the exam.

It's, it's, it's doing the exam. No, it's during the exam. Yeah, but you could have looked it up online and done it like that. You were stating it out a little bit.

No, I didn't study it. Yeah, no study. I just went in there. I just went in there.

I was starting, but I didn't. I didn't know. You got to stick around. I didn't know it was anyone enough.

To, you know? You got to stick around the bike. I mean, you got to stick around the bike. Yeah, yes, yes.

That's right. So, so from the else, they're moving onto the beat test to tell you just what you've done. Yeah. So, another thing I want to ask is, if you see with instructor, to do a lesson, I'm like a, like, like, the, like, like, yeah, yeah, yeah, you get credit in your hours, is that true?

Yeah, so one hour counts as true. I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Yeah, so if you do an hour, then they'll have to pay a professional that has three, and they obviously sign it off. And they, when you do a lesson with them, they feel like the back of the book, too.

Does that accept the section? Yeah, don't. Yeah, there's a separate section at the back. And that's with a, a paid instructor, like a professional.

And I do, I do a list of the professional. I'm going to drive from tallies. And basically, when the professional said, what do I need to do it past the test? Because I grant a student all the wrong way.

So it's not a bad thing for those of listening to get to me. It's a maximum of 10 times you go with a straight. Now time to, you've clocked your hours, you've turned something, you've booked again with the same department to go for your peace test. Yes.

What's that? What's involved in that there? Um, so obviously you've put online, you can either take your instructor's car, most of the instructors let you take the car that you've been learning. Okay, yeah.

And I personally, I just took my car and you just go for the test, you jump in the car and they just told you, like left or right. And that's it. They take you, I demand you in COVID. So my test was shortened.

It's usually 40 minutes. My test was about 20, 25. Just a second. Because you can't catch it in the first 25 minutes.

And was the instructor in the other car behind you? Because of the distancing. No. No, no.

You're just going to have to do an ex-me, face masks on. Yeah. And yeah, it's really quiet. Did you know that you were both?

No. Um, because my birthday was on the Saturday. So I put it for all this Monday or Tuesday. She was one of the ones that needed to get it.

Oh, yeah. I got my AUSOM warning of my birthday night. I didn't know she was open. I got it when he got it.

I got it. So, she wanted to get away from my sister's father's mother. So, this generation, so they don't have to do that. They just want to drive.

I thought it was all Uber. No, no. Oh, quiet. And he was always the same.

Yeah. I don't know, but I've been drunk. I'm a bad drunk kid because I drive now. I got it back.

You know, it's just like he said. He's not worried because he's still getting picked up. He still gets picked up. Does it look like a patent?

So, did you test your car? What car was that? A big car. It's one of those.

Yeah. I'm the fleet. Yeah. One of those.

Yeah. That one. Yeah. So, in that one, I unfortunately fabled my first and second time.

And I was so happy. I've never heard of it, please. So, in my first peace first, I said have a straight directory and leave 50 bucks in it. But she goes what's the straight directory?

So she tried one of the 50 in there, but it wouldn't work. Was it tested English? Was it tested English? Is that what the problem was?

No, sorry. As you leave it at the bar, what? She didn't understand where the guys said turn left. And then she got more confused as I turned right.

And you went through the yellow lights. Fred, Fred! What did you get? Yeah, I didn't stop at the stop sign.

I was like, what? It's a hidden stop sign. What, just hold it down. Surprise!

It's on the wall. She thought it was for Videy, alright? Anyway, I stopped. So it was all that I could say, but I still went through the entire test.

When you finish the test and you walk inside, I feel like I was cheating. I was showing you where you lost the mark. It was like, yes, good job. Drag it off the point, but you failed.

You stopped the stop sign. So you were done. I was like, right. And you do stop at the Google passenger that you want to pick up on my name.

So you got your lessons? Yes, the third time. Third time. I went through the entire test.

I thought, yeah, let's switch it up. When Mary threw a pass. So you raised it? Yeah, I'm out.

So, Mac was the third best suburb in the world to live it. So he was a bit of a lyser to enjoy it. Yeah, he was a bit of an area to drive me in. Yeah, he was best met during the day.

He was not one on the road. It's like, I really couldn't have stuffed it off. Yeah, that day I said. The other two times it was a lot of fail.

I'm all to you, like, basically crying because I wanted my license to that bad. And he's like, oh, I'm so happy. I'm like, kidding me. Like seriously.

So your first time on your own was a bit nerve-wracking. Oh, no, I jumped in the pass. I'm going to my mate's house. Music blareys.

Yeah, yeah. I did it. What day did Steve come to our house? The other day.

Yeah, he just pulls up outside. The disco queen was just leaving. The book would do whatever he'd like to go. Because I turned the bass up in the...

Yes, we did. We've been in there. You're not in a musical. You're doing a test, though.

No, it was really silent. What if you're driving? They turned off your phone. Okay.

So I was like, oh, they turned off your phone. I just opened the bar box. So I didn't want any... Dissection.

Yeah. I turned the radio off. Could have it on by just turns it off. And then it was really awkward.

Because they just say left. Yeah, they're like all the next ones. Yeah, the key. Can you tell us really what he said?

Right. Right. I remember like in my test, it was like... I went to...

I went to read. It was a poorly hot day. And the car had air conditioning. And this guy just opened the window.

I'm like, okay. And then I was paranoid because we had an XF gear. I had the digital dash back there. I think the sky gets exactly how fast I've got.

So it's speed. But you know, the Falcons had a poor turning circle. He made me do a u-turn and a streak that wasn't wide enough. And then it ended up becoming a three point turn.

Even though it was a u-turn. I thought it was a fire because I got a u-turn. He passed me. But it was only like a ramp up the gun.

I don't know what I'm back then at the other team. That was always the same course as I told. I even had my bike license in the same thing as my daughter. I had passed it because he walked to a block, watched it right down.

Oh, okay. And the other block, watched it right up. And then he goes, yeah, I'm going to go, as soon as he said that I ran the stop sign. I didn't see it.

Yeah, yeah, he filed it for that. And the bike did. So it's a due to half-four. Yeah, it's a pattern there.

Stop sign. Yeah. Yeah. You guys can't apply.

I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. There's obviously a license that's meant to be arrived.

Yeah. And then, say if you can get it. Yeah, he wasn't having a lot of data. I mean, now that you've got a license, do you feel like you've been adequately prepared with the law book?

Did you feel confident being out of the roadway itself? Yeah. I was fine with it. The driving instructor, they really make a difference.

I thought I was confident. Like, it's just me when you get in the car, some of you don't know. Yeah. It's just different when you get in the car, some of you don't know.

It's just different when you get in the car, some of you don't know. Yeah. Hey. Tom's just… Is that true of the coffee hallys mum?

That's how she drove. That's how she's on the else that she's drunk. I didn't care. I was just driving.

I was just driving. What do you mean? I took one of the second struck the top of the picture. Oh, no.

He just said, like, no, why? He didn't see he has to be here. Everything I said was like, I told her for. I took her for a drive in the Grange, because she wanted a guy for a river else in the Grange.

In a VA. I just washed it, like it looked immaculate. So I didn't care how she was driving. All the I cared about was the guns.

And the potholes with water. Is it true? For the April tunnel. Get in the other lane.

Why? There's a whole coming out of the water. I just washed it. Get in the other lane.

So you think your advice is a recommendation is, get a paid instructor for a couple of lessons. So I didn't have an instructor in two programs, maybe a month, up into my test. I did like one every week. So I had like many flu lessons.

And they just, you don't realize, I had to look over my shoulder, just for that turn. They stuff like that, mum and dad had no clue about it. Well, you said that now. I keep making out the drive.

I said to you, why don't you look? And she's looking at the camera. He can't say nothing. Why would you say at the beginning of your bills, should you pay a teacher?

Hell, are you taking a talk home? Because I don't think they're going over the same car. You take the talk, I'll take the other one. I read the book.

I read the book. I read the book. He's like, wait. You can't, I've got to go in the car now.

And the same thing in the back, the passengers like this. Right? Are you all right? What are you doing with passengers?

Anyway, I said the passengers say it was in the back. Oh, nice. Your passengers say it was in the back. I rolled it up.

I rolled it up. She goes, whoa. You look swash like that. You don't see it.

No one's. Because I've got to see it was in the back. So the team, I just do it roll their suits back. Oh, I have it.

Yeah, I sit back. Like, it's just, I'm not going to see like this. And I'm going to not drive you. Like, you can't.

It's all styles. Yeah. It's fine if I can't see. Like, what do you do?

You can hear that? It's fine if you can't see. Down is the thing. There you go.

Sunglasses are nice sunglasses. Oh, I don't know. I don't know. I can't see.

Yeah, I shouldn't like. I can't see. That would be funny as well. Yeah.

I think it's funny as well. I don't know. I don't know. All right.

Do you wait? Are you a sunglasses person? No. No.

No. I don't know. I don't know. I just kind of swim.

Yeah. The girls in the other car can't see. You're actually going to swim. I'm not going to freak you out.

I'm going to swim. I'm going to swim. Why is it down? It's a mirror.

It's not what you freak out. It's not too light. It's not too light. If you're ready to go, you're ready to go.

It's not so light. No, she's advanced to what you got. A200. A200.

Yeah. No, I'm not going to go. No. No.

No, I'm not going to go. No. No. And look.

It's okay. It's okay. Make an evolution. He's not making fun of another one, but because he works in the Shakespeare Tower.

Let's put the kids in today's lunch party. He gets to know . Once the tea artist's tent, until I'm a little bit. Remember that?

Yeah. Before she got up on the front, the he says the other leaving it was damaged. They used... What?

What was the glue top? Nick? 340. Just enough to get a gloves or letters of work for him properly.

Eddy's off your panty are you Pets edges feels anything I don't know, Paul Sartre police, were they car? I'll let the word undersea. And I was slowly getting time, I was still a nudge, the telegraph pole, done a U-turn, went back home three blocks away, I just chased cars, cause they were overseas and we had to get a fix before I got back, but panels weren't paid at the time, but I don't know, it was black panels on a white carpet anyway. Do they know it's not?

No, they did it. And they were gonna spray later on, so, you know, I would have dazed, sit back. Okay, I'm never done to sleep back, I can't do it. It's not that far.

It's just actually gonna leave. Like, what do you get out of the eye? I just can't drive like that. And I like the leg room, like I like to be able to put one big air out.

I don't actually call that thing up. I'm sorry, it's okay. But here next to me, the forehead, you're gonna go under the airbag. No, because I put the steering wheel down too.

You know the whole thing is, when you're sitting back like that, right, it all looks good, but you can actually, you can actually, you can actually, you know, collegiate that you know, where you can actually submarine like goat, like under the belt. And that's why they sort of say, pretentious. Yeah, no, but the new cars, the new cars, the new cars, the new cars, the new cars, the old cars, the signals, only then it gives you so much. We made the seat, there's a little bit of driving signals.

Yes, Paul. I don't wanna be like that. What did they start? What did they start?

When did you start wearing the first set of three? When did you start wearing the first set of three? Some cars had no re-ceapals, some of the cars. Yeah, in the out generation.

But when we were getting our bills, oh, peace, what's it mandatory? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's not what you, 70 cents.

When did you start wearing the signals? Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're not even the nunnies. They're not 60, they're not the only questions.

They are, they are, they are, they, H and the, you know, they're not the ones. No, no, no. He was the problem, just that I was doing it if you're on a car with Fayette, they didn't have a seatbelt on and they've done it. Is there a dream car?

Did you think your parents were gonna surprise you with a convertible or something like that? I really wanted to convert. Actually, I really wanted to. Like, like in your dad's a panel, but you know what I mean?
