Vince Lanci is a veteran commodities and derivatives trader with more than three decades of experience, beginning as a market maker on the floors of the NYMEX, COMEX, and NYBOT. He previously ran Berard Capital and served as co-head of metals and energy trading at CiS Options before founding Echobay Partners LLC, where he remains Managing Partner. Lanci is also an adjunct professor of MBA-level finance at the University of Connecticut and the publisher of the GoldFix Substack, where he provides analysis on precious metals, market structure, and macro trends. He is the author of As Good As Gold: The Return of Real Money, which examines the shift from Treasuries to gold as the world’s preferred form of collateral.
