Sport, in particular, is an area where there are famously well-known grudge encounters between teams and personalities that have a chequered history.In martial arts, boxing, wrestling and more recently MMA there are infamous encounters between people who really don't (appear) to like each other very much at all.  This may be a marketing ploy to sell tickets - with one character defined as the baddie, nowhere is this more apparent than in professional wrestling.
