Along with StLouis Post Dispatch Columnist, Bill Mcclelland and old friend Attorney Forriss Elliott Sr., who added some historical perspective, on past efforts to discuss merging StLouis City, into St. Louis County and racial obstacles, that prevented those discussions from advancing. ——— Attorney Elliott, recalled filing lawsuits against the Ladue school district, for their mistreatment of African American students in the late sixties, perhaps supporting the notion that StLouis County school districts, would never agree to a unitary school district, as part of a city county merger. ——— Tim Person reflects on how the fragmented governments, are a burden to the StLouis region as a whole, while I, continue insisting that a unified school district, would be of great benefit to the region, as a whole and certainly to the African American communities in St. Louis city and StLouis county. ———
