115. Trail Team - Cheer Episode 8 (AT)

In this episode, we hear from thru-hiker founder, and soon to be triple-crowner, Cheer, as she continues her 2023 thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail! Week 8 on the Appalachian Trail from Catawba to Waynesboro, Virginia sees Cheer hit some major milestones including the 800 mile mark and the 1/3 of the trail completed mark. This stretch also includes some well known AT highlights such as the McAfee Knob overlook and the James River Bridge, the longest footbridge on the AT. This section also sees some big climbs (Virginia is not flat!) and a great stay at the Stanimal's Hostel in Glasgow, VA. Stay tuned for Cheer's week 9 trail update!
