Mijn man Paul zit op zaalvoetbal, samen met een groepje mannen van zijn leeftijd. Ze zijn allemaal geen twintig meer, maar nog wel erg fanatiek! Dus regelmatig is er eentje uit het team geblesseerd. En een paar weken geleden was het Paul. Hij was ’s avonds op de fiets vertrokken en ik was net lekker gaan zitten op de bank met een boek en een kopje thee, toen de telefoon ging. Hij had met z’n hand langs een haak in muur geschuurd en er zat een snee in. Het was behoorlijk groot en diep, dus we moesten er wel even door een dokter naar laten kijken.
