In this episode I’m featuring another great local nonprofit that’s working hard at supporting families that are fighting childhood cancer. Melissa Scott is the Managing Director at Cool Kids Clubhouse in Huntersville, and she joins us to share the story behind Cool Kids Clubhouse. Their mission is devoted to improving the quality of life for pediatric oncology patients, survivors, and their families by focusing on the academic, social, and emotional needs brought on by a cancer diagnosis.Also joining us is Liz Mills.
