116 - Gunnar Nelson In episode 116 of “Have Guitar Will Travel”, presented by Vintage Guitar Magazine, host James Patrick Regan speaks with guitarist and singer (and multi instrumentalist) Gunnar Nelson. With his twin brother Matthew they perform as Nelson (the band from the ‘80’s) and they are the sons of the late Ricky Nelson. In their conversation they cover: Moving from LA to Nashville 23 years ago… making him a Nashville local and the benefits of living in Nashville. They talk about Gunnar’s role in Nelson, as the principal songwriter and the guy who does the heavy lifting in the band. They discuss the three Nelson records they have in the can and how they’re going to go about releasing that material.
