Welcome to Bun In The Oven, a small family run bakery & cafe nestled in a small gap amongst the bustling commercial district of Ensridge, a rapidly growing port city on the edge of the Haversnick Empire. Run by a married couple Gwynda & Lionel, Bun In The Oven is a beloved bakery renowned not just for the quality of its baked goods but also for the warm welcome it gives all its customers whilst offering them their daily shot of morning coffee or sweat pastry bite to kick start their working day. Idyllic as this sounds not all is as easy under the surface as it appears to the customers. Rent is about to be raised by 20% by Enrisdge City Council who own the district to cover the cost of Emperor Hausperax's upcoming visit. Crammed into small living quarters upstairs the couple also share their space with Gwynda's Mother Agnes who is mostly bedridden and needs constant care. And to top it off Gwynda is expecting their first child due in a month, it's been a hard pregnancy and she is daily exhausted having to continue working to support the business. So stoke up the fire, need the dough, and grab yourself a mug of coffee.
