In honour of Women's History Month 2025, I talked with 2 amazing women who are single for now, and thriving financially. Why or why not?Simi Iledare was born and raised in Nigeria. She moved to the United States in 2001, earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in Accounting. She also holds a CFE and CPA designation. Simi has worked in the United States and the United Kingdom and has over 15 years of experience in accounting and auditing. Before 2021, she worked as an auditor with a public accounting firm. She currently works in regulations. She currently lives and works in the United States. In addition to her day job, she has a passion for seeing the world and helping others see the travel possibilities, especially for those working full-time and/or holding a weak passport. Numbers have always been a part of her life, both in her professional work and her personal brand. Her mission is to empower young people to take control of their finances early on, because personal finance isn’t taught in schools, but mastering it early can be life-changing.
