116: Spiritual Bypassing

Hello and Welcome to episode 116 of the UNFILTERED: Life & Awakening Podcast! In this episode we take on the topic of Spiritual Bypassing when it comes to the path of healing, awakening, drawing awareness, and finding self. We start by defining the term, the idea, and how the concept of aligning with positive, higher frequency thoughts in the spiritual community contains trappings to avoid and not truly address the trapped undercurrent of our nature. We start of with generalized examples and later go into a discussion of a particular instance from our experience and the tools and sets of aware thoughts we can use to draw awareness, acceptance, feeling, and ultimately unravel unprocessed shadow/child trauma. We discuss the trappings that have us short-circuit, taking us away from any real observation outlooks and simply go into a limbic system based respons, and how we can pause and draw awareness to larger interpretations of the system. We then talk about the completeness of the whole system, the design of energetic and physical expression of our being, and the true observation on experience of our human self.
