If you're going to review a film, you might as well do it with comedian/writer/film critic/absolute legend, Alexei Toliopoulos!The film "The Menu" was released worldwide in November 2022, which is the same month that this episode was recorded - a first for Leguizamarama!"The Menu" is a dark comedy/thriller. It is the story of a world renowned chef who owns and operates a small, exclusive and expensive restaurant on an isolated island with no reception. On this particular evening, a small group of privileged members of society arrive on the island by boat to take part in an exciting, bougie and pleasant evening of food and theatrics. Theatrical, yes. Pleasant, not so much! John Leguizamo plays an ageing actor, desperate to hold onto his fame and notoriety. It's so fun to watch. Hosted on Acast.
